Should I order a sample if I already know what I want?

Yes. Our materials are natural, and variations in grain, colour and texture are part of their beauty. A sample helps you understand the tone and feel before committing to your full project.

What should I buy from my cabinetry supplier?

You will need to source:

  • Hinges & drawer runners
  • Internal fittings (pull-outs, larders, inserts, bins, etc.)
  • Fixings for integrated appliances (supplied by the appliance manufacturer)

Your IKEA or cabinetry planner can check everything is included before installation.

What is your lead time?

Lead times vary depending on material choice and workshop capacity. We open a limited number of maker slots each month. As a general guide, our kitchen lead time is 6 to 8 weeks.

Do you have a minimum order?

Yes. Minimum order values vary by material, but as a guide are typically around £3,000 (ex VAT).

Can I change my order?

You can request changes within 24 hours of payment. Any adjustments may be subject to card processing fees and differences in order value.

After 24 hours, changes cannot be guaranteed due to batching and production scheduling.

Do you make cabinets?

Yes — through our Kindfocus collection.

Can you make bespoke items?

Yes. We can create custom panels, shelves, trims or non-standard-sized doors for awkward spaces. Send us accurate measurements and we’ll advise on what’s possible.

Can you make spacer panels and deco strips?

Yes.

What thickness are your doors and panels?

Thickness varies depending on the finish but generally falls between 18–20mm. A natural tolerance of ±2mm should be expected.

Do you offer edge banding?

No. We showcase the exposed birch plywood edge — strong, natural, and beautifully crafted.

Do you offer custom colours?

Yes. We have our own range of curated Kindroot colours across timbers, as well as full access to the Fenix and Forbo colour collections.

Get in touch with your colour request or book a design meeting.

How should I clean my fronts?

You will receive care instructions tailored to your chosen finish. In general, use a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners.

What if something arrives damaged?

If anything arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photos so we can resolve it quickly. We package everything carefully, but if something goes wrong, we’ll put it right.

Can I use non-IKEA integrated appliances?

Often — but always check dimensions. Some appliances may require additional filler panels or adjustments.

Key things to consider:

  • Door height and plinth clearance
  • Dishwasher door weight limits
  • Sliding hinge compatibility
  • Whether extra panels are required

If you're unsure, share your appliance choices with us.

Which cabinet systems do your fronts fit?

We can create fronts for IKEA Metod, Howdens, DIY Kitchens, Magnet, Wren & more.

  • IKEA Metod → Order directly through our website.
  • Other brands → These require our bespoke commissioned design service so everything is crafted to the correct specification.
Do you offer worktops?

Yes. See our Worktops Collection in the shop.

How should I fit end panels?

End panels are fitted traditionally from inside the cabinet.

For full instructions, see our Fitting Guide.
