Yes. Alongside fronts, panels and furniture, we also make our own plywood cabinetry. This is quoted on a project-by-project basis, so please enquire for more information if you would like a fully KindRoot-made kitchen or furniture piece.

Our products are made in our workshop in Tunbridge Wells, Sussex. We manufacture in small batches and made-to-order quantities, allowing us to maintain quality while reducing unnecessary waste and overproduction.

No. Most KindRoot products are made to order specifically for each project. This allows us to offer flexibility in sizes, finishes and details while avoiding unnecessary stock and waste.

Yes. Our materials and furniture can be adapted throughout the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, utilities, boot rooms and open living spaces.

Yes. Many of our pieces can be adapted in size, finish, handle style, worktop material and internal configuration. For more unusual projects, we can discuss bespoke design options as part of your consultation.

Yes. Our timber-based collections use FSC-certified materials wherever possible, including high-grade European veneers on birch plywood cores.

We offer a curated selection of oak, ash, London plane, bamboo, Fenix, Forbo, Richlite, Durat, Resilica and other surface materials. Our collections are chosen for longevity, sustainability, tactile quality and how they feel in a home.

Yes. Our timber collections use genuine European veneers pressed onto birch plywood cores. As a natural material, variation in grain, colour and character should be expected and celebrated.

We've intentionally curated a smaller collection of materials that align with our values around longevity, sustainability and calm design. We believe fewer, better choices often lead to more confident decisions.

Yes. We strongly recommend ordering samples before making final decisions, as natural materials can vary in tone, grain and texture.

Yes. Variation is part of the beauty of real wood and living materials. Grain, tone, flecking and surface character can differ from sample to sample and from project to project.

No. If you already have an IKEA, Howdens, Magnet, Wren or DIY Kitchens plan, that is helpful. If not, we can still talk through your ideas and help you understand the next best step.

Yes. IKEA Metod cabinetry is one of the systems we work with most often. You can send us your IKEA planner link or PDF so we can quote accurately.

Yes. We offer design support to help with materials, flow, storage, handles, proportions and overall direction. Our approach is calm and staged, so decisions can settle before anything is locked in.

Yes. We offer home visits as part of our design process packages. Visiting your space allows us to better understand how you live, identify opportunities and discuss materials, storage and layout ideas in context.

Yes. You are welcome to visit our Clerkenwell studio in London or arrange a call with us to discuss materials, samples and your project.

We have a display space within House of Estila in Farringdon, London, where you can view a selection of materials, worktops and furniture samples. Visits are recommended by appointment.

Because everything is made to order, changes cannot usually be accepted once an order has been confirmed. We will always help you check the details carefully before production begins.

Our usual lead time is around 6–8 weeks, depending on the material, order size and workshop capacity. We will confirm the expected timeline when quoting.

Yes. Delivery is quoted depending on the size of the order and delivery location.

We do not currently offer a standard installation service for every project. Many clients use their own kitchen fitter or installer. Where helpful, we can provide guidance for your installation team.

Yes. Our products are designed to be fitted by a competent kitchen fitter, joiner or installer. We can provide relevant information to help them understand the details.

Although rare, if something arrives damaged during transport, please notify us as soon as possible with photographs. We will work with you to resolve the issue quickly.

Yes. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and are always happy to discuss any concerns should they arise after installation.

Final pricing depends on the size of your project, material choice, number of fronts and panels, handle details, cabinetry, delivery and any bespoke design work.

We use high-grade materials, FSC-certified timber products, carefully selected veneers and low-volume manufacturing. Our products are made in Sussex rather than imported at scale, and many include details such as matched grain, bespoke sizing and specialist finishes.

Most projects are highly dependent on material choices, dimensions, cabinetry type and design details. Rather than providing misleading starting prices, we prefer to offer transparent example projects and tailored quotations.

Unless stated otherwise, our quoted project prices include VAT.

Yes. Payment terms will be confirmed with your quote. Most projects are paid in stages, with the balance due before delivery or collection.
