A note from Molly
You may have arrived here after discovering Custom Fronts through a previous project, recommendation, social media post, or online search. Whilst Custom Fronts is no longer trading, my own journey in design has continued.
My design journey
My name is Molly, and I spent several years working as a designer at Custom Fronts, helping homeowners create thoughtful kitchen and furniture projects using beautiful, practical and sustainable materials.
During that time, I learnt how personal a home project can be. Kitchens are not just functional spaces. They hold routines, relationships, overwhelm, creativity, family life and everyday moments.

What came next
Over time, my work began to move beyond how a kitchen looks and functions, and towards how a home can support the people living in it.
I became increasingly interested in sensory design, sustainability, neurodiversity, decision fatigue and the emotional experience of renovating.
That journey led me to create KindRoot Home.
Introducing KindRoot
KindRoot is a new and separate business, focused on calm, thoughtful and sustainable kitchens, furniture and home projects.
Through KindRoot, I continue to work with homeowners on considered design projects, while also exploring how our homes can better support wellbeing, sensory needs and everyday life.
