Kindroot – Terms & Conditions

A warm, clear and modern guide to working with us

Effective from: 21/11/2025

1. Who We Are

These Terms & Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Kindroot Home Ltd (“Kindroot”, “we”, “us”).

Registered Company Name: Kindroot Home Ltd
Registered Office Address:
Kindroot Home
Office One,
1 Coldbath Square, Farringdon
London
EC1R 5HL
Company Number: 16890550

When we say “you”, we mean the customer placing an order with us.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms — they exist to keep everything transparent, fair and smooth for everyone.

2. About Our Products

Every piece we make is crafted to order using natural materials including timber, Richlite, bamboo and veneer. Because of this, please note:

  • Natural variation in grain, colour and texture should be expected

  • Samples are a guide and not an exact match

  • Knots, small cracks, movement and natural growth patterns are characteristics, not defects

  • Filler may be used to support or stabilise natural material

  • Screens and printers do not perfectly represent real-life colour

We choose natural materials for their warmth and individuality. Each order is uniquely yours.

3. Quotes, Measurements & Order Confirmation

Your order is produced based on the drawings, measurements and information you provide.

Please carefully check all item details, sizes, materials and instructions before confirming your order.

  • You receive one round of revisions before final sign-off.

  • Once your order is approved and your 30% deposit is paid, production begins.

  • After this point, changes cannot be made.

  • Urgent amendments carry a £100 admin fee and may affect lead times.

Your confirmed order pack forms the basis of everything we manufacture.

4. Payment

Our payment structure is:

  • 30% deposit to secure your order

  • 70% balance due 7 days before delivery

Deposits are non-refundable as materials and production slots are allocated specifically for your order.

We accept bank transfer and major card payments.

5. Lead Times

Our general lead time is 4–8 weeks, depending on:

  • Material availability

  • Finish type

  • Workshop schedule

  • Supplier timelines

  • Time of year

Lead times begin once:

  1. Your order is approved

  2. Your order pack is confirmed

  3. Your 30% deposit is received

We always provide estimated timelines and update you as your order progresses.
Please avoid booking fitters until your confirmed delivery date is provided in writing.

We are not liable for costs arising from delayed delivery, but we act quickly and communicate openly if delays occur.

6. Manufacturing Tolerances

We work to a ±2mm tolerance on all components.

Because timber responds individually to machining:

  • Minor breakout, slight movement and natural irregularities may occur

  • These are not considered defects

If a genuine manufacturing issue is confirmed, we will repair or replace the affected item.

Doors over 1.0m may experience natural warp; this is not considered a fault.

7. Delivery

Deliveries are made to the kerbside or nearest safe point accessible by vehicle.

Please ensure:

  • Someone is available to receive the order

  • The drop-off area is suitable

  • You have assistance for heavy items

Drivers may help carry items inside at their discretion, but responsibility transfers to you once items leave the vehicle.

Please inspect your items within 24 hours of delivery and report any issues before installation.
We cannot accept claims after fitting.

8. Holding & Storage

If delivery or collection is delayed after your order is complete:

  • Storage is at your own risk

  • A charge of £100 per week may apply

Natural materials may move or change if stored outside optimal conditions. We cannot be liable for this.

9. Returns

As all products are made to order, we cannot accept returns unless:

  • A manufacturing defect is confirmed

  • The product was damaged during delivery

Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging.

10. Fitting

Once items are installed — or altered (including cutting, drilling, shaping, adjusting or oiling) — this counts as acceptance of the product in its current condition.

We cannot accept liability for issues arising from installation or site handling.

11. Lifetime Guarantee

Your kitchen fronts and panels include a lifetime guarantee covering production defects during normal residential use.

The guarantee applies where:

  • You are the original purchaser

  • Items are installed correctly

  • Products are used as intended

  • Care and maintenance guidance is followed

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Colour change or ageing

  • Water, heat or environmental damage

  • Improper installation

  • Commercial or rental use

  • Misuse or modification (cutting, drilling, sanding, etc.)

Our responsibility is limited to repair or replacement of the defective item.
Installation/removal costs remain the customer’s responsibility.

We always aim to resolve issues quickly and supportively.

12. Privacy

We use your personal information only to process your order, communicate with you and deliver your goods.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
